If you have a student athlete (grades 4-8) participating in a fall or winter diocesan sport (volleyball, football, golf, basketball or cheerleading), and you do not feel you are able to commit time to the ICAA Gym Program, you may pay a $100 ICAA Opt-Out Fee* that will fulfill your obligation for the specified sports season.
Failure to complete payment of the ICAA Opt-Out Fee or commit time to the ICAA Gym Program will result in an assessment fee that will be applied to the student athlete’s SportsEngine account at the close of the current sports season. An invoice for this assessment will be sent to the parent and/or guardian at the close of the applicable season. The student athlete will not be permitted to register for future sports until the fee has been paid.
Any parent and/or guardian who feels that they are unable to complete any requirements should contact icgymprogram@gmail.com.
*Requirements are per family, not athlete. If you have more than one student athlete in your household participating in a sport during the same season, you only have to fulfill the volunteer requirement or fee once. Coaches are exempt.
